Communities for Children

What do we do?

The Communities for Children Early Childhood and Family Team aims to support families in the suburbs of Kingston,
Loganlea and Waterford West to give children aged 0-5 years the best possible start in life.

The team works across 4 Family Centres situated at Kingston East Neighbourhood Centre, Loganlea Community Centre,
Waijin Family Centre and Waterford West State School.

Workers can help with information about children (health, school readiness and early learning, social skills,
creating opportunities for positive emotional, social and physical development), parenting and local services.

If you have a child 0-5 years and would like to know more about what is available to support you to give your
child the best start in life please call or drop in for a chat at any of the family centres.
