If you would like to learn more about how to support young people with legal issues, and you are in the South East Queensland region, then you may like to come to come to a LYLS Legal Information Training Session. 
 
This training has been developed to help workers (including youth workers, teachers, and school guidance counsellors) support at risk young people who may come into contact with, or who are risk of coming into contact with, the legal system.
 
The program focuses on:
  • recognising what a legal issue is;
  • how to access appropriate resources for the young person;
  • how to support them through the legal process; and
  • what their rights and responsibilities are as someone who works with young people.
