Personal Helpers and Mentors Program (PHaMs)
PHaMs provide services to people (16 and over) who have a mental illness and as a result,
have difficulty functioning in aspects of everyday life.
PHaMs uses a recovery model of service delivery. Recovery is the journey toward a new and valued sense of identity,
role and purpose outside the parameters of mental illness; and living well despite limitations resulting from the illness &
its treatment and personal and environmental conditions.
PHaMs staff will meet with you to establish your goals and develop your recovery plan.
PHaMS will then work with you to achieve your recovery plan.
PHaMs team will:
- link
- respect
- strengthen
- encourage
- assist
- support
- connect
- listen
