YFS works with people who are homeless - or about to become homeless - to help them find somewhere secure to live, and to develop the skills and supports they need to maintain a tenancy.
Our Step by Step program helps vulnerable families function better, through hands-on assistance with practical matters and counselling to address underlying issues.
For Browns Plains and Beaudesert families with complex issues, the Intensive Family Support program works closely with parents to help them improve their children’s safety and care.
Assessment and Service Connect can help if your family comes to the attention of Child Safety, they can bring us in to assist you and your children while they conduct their investigation and assessment.
Our YouthLink program works specifically with young people aged 12 to 18 who are finding life a bit out of control. YouthLink provides practical help tailored to each young person's needs and goals.
Our financial services help people understand their money, bills, and how to get a better deal. We aim to help people avoid getting into a financial mess, and to help them sort out their finances is they get into difficulty through unemployment, sickness, or family problems.
The YFS SHIFT program works with young people who feel like their substance use is getting out of control, affecting relationships, impacting how they feel physically or mentally, or preventing them from achieving what they want out of life.
We help young people to identify goals and develop a plan to lead healthy independent lives.
We encourage you to be active in your community, and we champion your abilities and independence.
YFS is committed to ending domestic and family violence by working with perpetrators of domestic and family violence to change their behaviour through our Responsible Men program, which includes counselling and group education.
YFS' Personal Helpers and Mentors program (PHaMs) provides a non-clinical, practical service to people with a severe mental illness which significantly affects their ability to manage daily activities and live independently (psycho- social disability).
Is a community legal centre in the Logan community. Although we are for all ages we do specialise in providing information, advice, and representation for clients 10 - 25 years of age who find themselves needing help with criminal law matters.
YFS provides community education in a range of areas, such as domestic violence and respectful relationships, money management and legal topics.
Substation 33 is a social enterprise that recycles electronic waste and gives volunteering and work experience opportunities to people who are long-term unemployed.
YFS ParentsNext is for Logan parents of young children.
We help parents prepare for future employment and gain confidence, skills and knowledge so they are ready to join the workforce when their children start school.
