نظرة عامة

SOAR is a facilitated group program for women who have experienced violence, control and abuse in intimate partner relationships.

You’ll connect with others in a safe and supportive space to explore your experiences and their impact.

Together, you’ll explore power, control and equality in relationships, impacts of violence and abuse on you and your children, understand how you cope, respond and resist violence while building confidence, self-worth and practical tools for a safer future.

Support is provided in person

What to expect

Once you let your Service Delivery Support Officer know you’re interested, they will talk with you about upcoming groups.

SOAR is delivered as a structured group program with regular sessions facilitated by YFS workers. Each session focuses on topics such as relationships, power and control, emotional wellbeing and self-worth.

Groups are small to support participation, discussion and connection.
