If you’re sleeping rough, couch surfing, or don’t have a stable place to live, Mobile Support may be able to help.
We work with you to find safe and affordable housing, including short-term options if needed.
Once you have somewhere to live, we support you to keep it. This might include help to connect with people, services and supports that strengthen your stability over time.
Mobile Support is an outreach service, which means we can come to you. Our Housing Specialists will meet with you in a place that feels comfortable and familiar, like at home or somewhere in your community.
You can also visit our Slacks Creek office. It’s close to public transport, and parking is available.
After receiving your referral, we work fast to find you somewhere to stay. We will work with you for as long as you need, with a focus on finding long-term, stable housing.
Support is tailored to your needs and usually lasts between three and six months.
We offer flexible support, including outreach, home visits and appointments during business hours, with some capacity to respond outside these times.
This service supports people in the Logan Local Government Area (LGA).
You can’t refer yourself directly to Mobile Support. Referrals are made through other YFS services.
