Logan community organisation YFS enters a new chapter with clearer path to support

YFS has unveiled a refreshed brand expression, introducing “Your Future Story” as a more accessible way for individuals, families and the Logan community to understand and engage with the support available.
29 July 2026

The update reflects more than 40 years of growth as a trusted, community-based organisation delivering integrated services across housing, domestic and family violence, youth support, employment, legal services and financial wellbeing.

YFS CEO Christopher John said the refreshed brand, alongside a new website, provides a clearer way for people to understand and access the full scope of support YFS offers.

“Over time, we’ve grown into a broad and integrated organisation but the way we’ve been understood hasn’t always kept pace,” John said.

“This process gave us the opportunity to listen to our community, our team members and our partners and to reflect on how we can communicate more clearly.

“What we heard was consistent, that the work is valued, but not always fully visible, and that can make it harder for people to find the support they need.”

John said the brand evolution responds to that challenge.

“Your Future Story reflects a simple truth, that every person shapes their own path forward, and our role is to walk alongside them as they navigate what comes next.”

“Alongside this, we’ve introduced a new website to make it easier for people to find their way to the right support.”

YFS Chief Impact Officer Ash Simpson said the organisation itself remains unchanged, with the same people, services and commitment continuing to underpin its work.

“Your Future Story reinforces YFS’ role in helping people navigate systems that can often feel complex or fragmented, bringing together support in a way that is clear, coordinated and responsive,” Simpson said.

“Because people’s lives don’t fit into categories, the way support is delivered shouldn’t either.

“Our new brand reflects where hope meets help in practice, helping people to take the next step with confidence, knowing they’re not navigating it alone.”

“It also belongs to the community that helped inform it, and we’re grateful to everyone who shared their experiences, insights and perspectives as part of this process.”

The refreshed brand is already visible across YFS’ new website and signage, with publications, resources and other communications transitioning over the coming months.
