If you are a parent or pregnant person aged 16-25 and living in social housing, Supported Tenancies for Young Parents can help you maintain your housing, strengthen your parenting and life skills, and build towards long-term independence.
We help you to:
- keep a stable home
- strengthen your parenting and life skills
- prevent homelessness through early support
- improve long-term housing and social outcomes.
You cannot self-refer to the Supported Tenancies for Young Parents program. If you are eligible and consent to be part of the program, you can be referred by the Queensland Government Department of Housing and Public Works, community housing providers, or Queensland Health.
