We maintain the rights, wellbeing and dignity of our clients and staff by supporting diversity and inclusion, and by embracing difference. We embed diversity and inclusion into YFS through our governance, our everyday work, and dedicated staff working groups.
Our Cultural Diversity Working Group celebrates and promotes the many different cultural backgrounds of YFS staff.
Our LGBTQIA+ Pride Working Group identifies and implements opportunities to keep LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy inclusion on the agenda for our organisation and ensures that YFS is an inclusive place.
Our employee-led Disability and Neurodiversity Working Group has a role in ensuring that YFS considers the needs of neurodiverse people and people with disability.
Our RAP Working Party oversees the actions in the Reconciliation Action Plan and plans key Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander events throughout the year.
