Overview
The Community Youth Response and Diversion (CYRD) program helps keep young people aged 10 to 17 out of the youth justice system.
We walk alongside you providing culturally appropriate case management and outreach support focused on strengthening your connection and belonging.
Whether you need help with transport to appointments, accessing legal advice, finding work or education opportunities, securing safe accommodation, or building confidence to navigate services, we’re here to support you.
We take the time to listen and work at your pace, always without judgement.
Our Youth Coach can also support you to:
- make healthy and positive choices
- start thinking about the future
- get life back on track
- create a plan and set achievable goals to move forward
- link you in with your community
- explore and access other support services.
This program is co-designed and delivered with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS), ensuring it’s culturally safe, respectful and right for you and your family.
