Next Step Plus

Next Step Plus supports young people aged 15 to 25 to prepare to leave care and move into adulthood. 

We work alongside you to build the skills, confidence and connections you’ll need as an adult. Support is flexible and based on what matters to you. 

This might include help with: 

• planning for leaving care  
• building everyday life skills like budgeting  
• exploring your options for safe and stable housing 
• education, training or work 
• health, wellbeing and mental health   
• connecting with services, family and community.

Once a referral is received, our team will be in touch within a couple of days. If Next Step Plus is a good fit, we’ll arrange a time to meet. 

We’ll take the time to understand your goals and what support you need, and work with you to build a plan for your next steps. 

We accept self-referrals and referrals from the Department of Child Safety, care providers, and other community-based professionals and services and government departments.
