Mobile Support – Slacks Creek

A safe and stable home is the foundation for a good life. It creates space to set goals, work through challenges, and build strong community and family relationships.  

Mobile Support – Slacks Creek supports people living in the Slacks Creek Community Housing Initiative to settle in, maintain their tenancy and work towards their future goals.

We work alongside individuals, couples and families to build on their skills, strengthen connections and support wellbeing. Support is voluntary and is personalised to each household. We can connect with you when you move in, or at any time during your tenancy. 

We can support you with things like: 

• settling into your home 
• financial information and assistance
• connecting with services such as health, parenting, education or employment 
• setting goals and planning next steps 
• advocacy and referrals.

Churches of Christ Housing Services manages the housing, including tenancies and property matters.

Once we receive a referral from Churches of Christ Housing Services, we’ll contact you to arrange a time to meet. 

We’ll spend time getting to know you, your household, and what support might be helpful. Together, we’ll look at your goals and what’s happening for you right now. 

From there, we can support you in ways that work for you. This might include help to settle into your home, connect with services, or work through challenges as they come up. 

Support is flexible. Some people check in with us once or twice, while others work with us over a longer period. 

Our team is onsite from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Visit us during those hours to speak with one of our housing specialists if you’d like support.
