YFS has signed the Logan Children’s Charter a new initiative encouraging businesses throughout the city to create child-friendly spaces and keep the needs of kids front of mind.
The Logan Children’s Charter and Child Friendly Toolkit provide a how-to guide for local businesspeople who want to create a space welcoming to kids and their families.
Coordinated by Logan Together in partnership with Logan City Council and the Salvation Army, the charter aims to make Logan a child-friendly city through three steps:
- embrace a child friendly approach
- create child friendly spaces
- actively engage and consult with children.
